Mutual aid is essential to our survival in our communities, and to building the movement.

Mutual aid is not charity or volunteerism, it is about exposing and resisting the root causes of crisis conditions.

We are working together with the following organizations to build a movement of racial, social, and economic justice.

  • Living Energy Farm

    Living Energy Farm is an off-grid farm and intentional community dedicated to sustainable technology research, development and education. They serve as a viable demonstration that a fulfilling life is possible without the use of fossil fuel Serenity Solidarity is working with LEF to bring solar technology to important community service projects in Puerto Rico.

  • Las Palmas Land Trust

    Development companies and the rich are buying up most affordable housing and land in the U.S.

    Las Palmas Land Trust has formed for the purpose of holding land in common to provide a space for economically disenfranchised people to own homes, grow food and create meaningful employment. Serenity Solidarity raised $20,000 for Las Palmas Land Trust in 2022!

  • Giniw Collective

    We have a partnership and mutual aid relationship with Tara Houska and Giniw Collective. Giniw Collective is a group of activists that engage in Indigenous-women, 2-spirit led frontline resistance to protect Mother Earth. We were involved in the Line 3 fight with them and are now helping them build an Indigenous land project.

  • Poor People's Campaign

    The Poor People’s Campaign is organizing people all across the country who are coming together to confront the interlocking evils of systemic racism, poverty, ecological devastation, militarism and the war economy, and the distorted moral narrative of religious nationalism. Serenity Solidarity is working with The Poor People’s Campaign on housing initiatives for the poor.

  • Yogagenix

    Serenity member Aisha Kish is a Black yoga practitioner who is passionate about developing a deeper representation of Black yogis within the larger yoga community. Aisha Kish’s family of 6 are founding members of Serenity Solidarity.

  • Let Us Free US

    Let Us Free Us is a national organization working on food sovereignty programs in Philadelphia, and collective living projects in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Serenity Solidarity is a sister community of Let Us Free Us.

  • Liberation Arts

    Liberation Arts

    Saman Dashti is an expressive arts facilitator with Liberation Arts who is dedicated to helping people experience warrior arts culture. He is a Contremestre in the Afro-Brazilian art of Capoeira. Serenity Solidarity is currently fundraising for Liberation Arts members to visit Brazil so that they may learn about the practices of the Afro-Brazilian Quilombos and form relationships with the Landless People’s Movement.

  • Louisa Food Not Bombs

    We helped start a Food Not Bombs chapter in Louisa, VA!

  • M.A.M.A. Mother's Against Meth Alliance

    Serenity Solidarity is planning a Solidarity Trip to Pine Ridge Reservation in May 2025 to help M.A.M.A. build yurts and cabins on their land, which will have a detox and healing center for Indigenous people suffering from addiction.
